February 2, 2008 Bits and Pieces


1. The first “lists” are appearing in the deluxe card section at the bottom of the market navigation bar.

2. A new background/color scheme for the market is slipping in.

3. The Penglai cards are up in the market and available.

4. Sue is writing up her experiences in california. Check her blog for that info.

5. Information and links for the upcoming Cons is growing.

6. I see we have no Bashcon communication GM here on the Journal. hmmm. What does that mean?

7. We have new intro stories for DS on the webpages. Thanks Robert.

8. Sue is doing art for the following cards: Spear Master, Unarmed Combat Master, Mentor, Forage for Food, Wisdom of the Ages, Ebony Elf Character (male and female), Dryad Character. Eight cards.

Are you telling me that I have been imputting events for Bashcon and trying to drum up support to go to the con for nothing? Harrumph! I have even managed to reach them by e-mail this year (as opposed to last) and have assurances of them grouping our tables together. Let me know when you find that person so I can get compensated for my time...

As it stands now, we have listed in the pre-reg book: a demo for 5:00 on Friday, a low level game for 7:00 on Friday. On Saturday there are 3 games listed for each time slot - a low, medium, and high game at 9:00 am, 2:00 pm and 7 pm. Then we have a game at 9:00 am on Sunday followed by one at 2:00 if anyone stays around for them. Tim has graciously agree to run one of the games at7:00 on Saturday as well as the 9:00 am game on Sunday. Unless the job interview comes through and demands that I cannot go to the con, I will handle the demo and game on Friday. I still would like volunteers for the rest of the games.

All gaming needs to be over with at 11:45 on Friday and Saturday with the room cleared out by midnight.
